The S & S Connect's GNS Deployment Services uses sophisticated optical network deployment tools to achieve open interfaces, streamlined operations, and faster, simpler network deployment. This service delivers rapid installation and high quality performance for the lifetime of your S & S Connect equipment. The S & S Connect's GNS group has extensive experience in installing, testing and commissioning S & S Connect's access, data and optical networks. We work with customer facilities engineers, managers, planners, and quality personnel to determine the requirements of the work to be provided.
We offer two key Deployment Services—Turnkey Installation and Turn-up & Test


Turnkey Installation :

This service is designed for those who want S & S Connect to prepare the site, design the hardware build-out plan, and install, turn-up and test the S & S Connect products for a ready-for-use condition. With Turnkey Installation, S & S Connect provides the following:

.:	Site Survey : In accordance with the designated standard, we conduct a survey of all sites to verify local site conditions, material requirements for deployment, identify any open items that must be completed prior to deployment and provide a complete S & S Connect site survey form.
.:	Site Engineering : We prepare detailed installation specifications for each site. Each specification contains a site-specific scope of work, updated customer-supplied floor plan, equipment and cable drawings and provides an "As Built" engineering package.
.:	Installation Materials : We provide specifications and supply installation materials.
.:	Logistics : We provide local warehouse staging centers for S & S Connect-supplied equipment and materials. We also deliver S & S Connect-supplied equipment and materials to each site.
.:	Equipment Installation : We provide the physical installation of S & S Connect equipment and all ancillary hardware, including cables.
.:	Equipment Turn-up and Test : We perform activities required to turn-up the S & S Connect equipment including, equipment inventory, installation of embedded and operational software, initial configuration of S & S Connect equipment, system verification, alarm verifications, and test measurement reports.

Turn-up & Test :

This service is designed for those who have internal staff to prepare the site, design the hardware build-out plan, and install the S & S Connect equipment, but require assistance with testing the equipment. S & S Connect's Turn-up & Test Service provides the following:

.:	Site Engineering : We coordinate a preliminary call with the customer to answer questions about product installation, confirm requirements and site readiness.
.:	Logistics : we ship the equipment and cabling to the customer's specified location.
.:	Equipment Turn-up and Test : We perform activities, in accordance with the required Method of Procedures (MOP) to successfully turn-up the S & S Connect equipment including, equipment inventory, installation of embedded and operational software, initial configuration of S & S Connect equipment, system verification, alarm verifications, and test measurement reports.
