RF & VSAT SOLUTIONS :

RF refers to radio frequency, the mode of communication for wireless technologies of all kinds, including cordless phones, radar, ham radio, GPS, and radio and television broadcasts. RF technology is so much a part of our lives we scarcely notice it for its ubiquity.

VSAT stands for Very Small Aperture Terminal. The word "Terminal" in this case refers to the satellite dish on the customer premises.

There is no commonly accepted agreement on exactly how small a satellite dish must be to qualify as a "Very Small" terminal. The term VSAT is applied to dishes up to 2.4 meters in diameter.

Most VSAT implementations are fixed satellite service. Some industry sources reserve the term VSAT for only FSS implementations, while others also use the term VSAT for mobile satellite services.
